Top 12 tips to improve your image – Ladies

.

  1. Wear clothes that fit! ‘Sounds obvious but it’s amazing how so many people wear
clothes that are either too big or too small.
  2. Instead of thinking of the parts of the body you are not crazy about, concentrate on your positive attributes. Draw attention to them.
  3. Wear clothes that are comfortable – that includes shoes! If clothes are not
comfortable the minute you put them on, you probably won’t wear them very much.
Not a good investment.
  4. Have more good hair days – a great hair-style will add oomph to your image. It
will also be easier to manage on a day-to-day basis.
  5. Spend the most money on the clothes you wear most – we break it down into cost
per wear. So, if you spend your life in jeans, that’s where you spend the money. If
you are wearing a suit Monday to Friday, invest in the best quality you can afford.
  6. Wear colour! Add interest to your wardrobe by adding a splash of colour to
your blacks, browns, navys and greys. If you find colour a bit daunting, start with
something small like a cami top or a scarf.
  7. Pay attention to grooming. Also check yourself head to toe in the morning before
you leave the house. A full-length mirror is a good investment. Check yourself from
 the back too!
  8. Establish a good skin care routine. Make it simple and easy for yourself and you are
more likely to maintain it.
  9. Wear a sun protection factor especially in summer to maintain a youthful look for longer. Sun damage is the most ageing factor for skin.
  10. If you like make-up, spend 10 minutes in the morning applying your ‘face’– we all
look better with a bit of make-up and it will last you all day.
  11. Accessorise! Add a bit of interest to your look by adding an interesting piece.
Doesn’t have to be expensive, but can add a touch of individuality to your look.
  12. Smile and give yourself a lift. No matter how challenged or down in the dumps you
might feel, just remember, it could be a lot worse. People are more like to engage
with a happy face!
